For over 25 years I have been in the landscape and construction industry, always aspiring to provide a positive customer experience and a well-crafted product. Initially, I began as an apprentice with several different landscape and construction design/build firms. From that experience, I quickly realized that building gardens was the best of all worlds; the convergence of design, building, plants and people.  I knew then that I wanted to have my own business in the landscape industry.

While apprenticing, I also participated in classes in landscape architecture and horticulture, which lead to passing the landscape contractor’s exam in 1990 and the general building contractor’s exam in 1999. Since then, I have continued to learn more through class work in irrigation conservation, Bay Friendly sustainable practices, and project management.
